ISSAC 2012 invites the submission of original research contributions to be considered for publication and presentation at the conference. Papers should not duplicate work published or submitted for consideration elsewhere prior or in parallel to the ISSAC submission. Papers must be in English and shall be reviewed by the Program Committee and external referees. Authors may be asked to respond to reviews shortly before acceptance decisions are made. Submissions cannot exceed 8 pages in the ACM sig-alternate.cls style (see http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates) or the acmconf style if you are using TeXmacs; if necessary, they can have an appendix that may be read by the reviewers and PC members, but which is not part of the Proceedings paper. Papers labeled "extended abstracts" will not be accepted. Submission is exclusively via EasyChair. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference to present the paper.
Submit full papers and abstracts through EasyChair system: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=issac2012
Camera-ready copy instructions
Please send the final version of your ISSAC'2012 paper to the program chair at this e-mail address: markvanhoeij@gmail.com.
Send the relevant file(s) as an attachment. To keep track of the files, please use a file-name that starts with the number of your paper, using the numbering given here: http://www.issac-conference.org/2012/papers.html.
For example, if your paper is the last one in that list, i.e., the 46'th one, then use a file-name that starts with 46, and send a file with a name like:
- 46_final.tar
- 46_final.tgz
- 46_final.zip

The poster sessions at ISSAC offer a forum for researchers to present early research results that are of interest but not yet completed. Also posters reporting on recent work published or accepted or submitted elsewhere are welcome. We invite authors to submit an extended abstract in PDF format of no more than 2 pages. The abstracts will be reviewed by the poster committee and relevant experts when needed. The review criteria are: content, originality, style and relevance. The accepted poster abstracts will be printed and distributed at the conference as well as published in an upcoming issue of the ACM SIGSAM Communications in Computer Algebra.
Abstracts must not exceed 2 pages in the style of Communications in Computer Algebra (see http://www.sigsam.org/cca/ for LaTeX files) and shall be submitted as PDF via EasyChair: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=issac2012posters

Submit a software presentation (via email client) - access the call for softwares |
Software developers are invited to present new software for solving problems in symbolic and algebraic computation at ISSAC 2012. Presenters will be given 15 minutes to demonstrate their software to participants in a special session for software presentations. There will be 5 additional minutes between presentations for setup.
Please submit an extended abstract in PDF format describing your software and what you will present at ISSAC to Francois Boulier by email at issac2012-software-presentation@lifl.fr Please include in the subject heading ISSAC 2012 Software Presentation. Please include a valid URL or contact address for obtaining the software packages and documentation.
Abstracts will be evaluated based on content, novelty, originality, importance and the potential value of the software to the community. Please identify in your extended abstract what is new in your proposed ISSAC 2012 software presentation. If you are also submitting a related paper at ISSAC 2012, please identify, in your email, the differences between the two submissions. You may also present your software as a poster. Extended abstracts of accepted software presentations will be distributed at the symposium and also printed in an issue of the ACM SIGSAM Communications in Computer Algebra. These published versions of extended abstracts will be restricted to a maximum of 3 pages.
