ISSAC 2019

The International Symposium on Symbolic and Algebraic Computation (ISSAC) is the premier conference for research in symbolic computation and computer algebra. ISSAC 2019 will be the 44th meeting in the series, which started in 1966 and has been held annually since 1981. The conference presents a range of invited speakers, tutorials, poster sessions, software demonstrations and vendor exhibits with a center-piece of contributed research papers.

ISSAC 2019 was held on 15-18 July 2019, at Beihang University, Beijing, China

The following awards were made at ISSAC 2019.

The Distinguished Paper Award, sponsored by SIGSAM, was made to:
Florent Bréhard, Mioara Joldes and Jean-Bernard Lasserre - On moment problems with holonomic functions.
The Distinguished Student Author Award, sponsored by SIGSAM, was made to:
Manuel Eberl - Verified Real Asymptotics in Isabelle/HOL.
The Distinguished Poster Award, sponsored by Fachgruppe Computeralgebra and Maplesoft, was made to:
Leili Rafiee Sevyeri and Robert Corless. - Approximate GCD in Bernstein basis.
The Distinguished Software Demonstration Award, sponsored by Fachgruppe Computeralgebra and Maplesoft, was made to:
Julián Cuevas-Rozo, Jose Divasón, Miguel Marco-Buzunáriz and Ana Romero - A Kenzo Interface for Algebraic Topology Computations in SageMath.
